What To Expect
A typical home inspection process lasts around three to four hours. During this time, the inspector carries out a thorough visual examination of both the interior and exterior of the home. Key areas assessed include the foundation, roof, attic, crawlspace, windows, doors, walls, electrical and plumbing systems, kitchens, bathrooms and heating/air conditioning units. This comprehensive approach helps ensure that all critical components of the home are evaluated for safety and functionality. We follow the TREC required Standards of Practice (SOPs), established by TREC rules 22 TAC 535.227 - 535.233.
